“The uniform makes for brotherhood, since when universally adopted it covers up all differences of class and country.”

Uniform Guide
When joining Cub Scouts, the uniform and associated patches can be a bit intimidating, so for our new and returning scouts I wanted to go over the basics.
For the full or Class A uniform, Pack 729 requires scouts to have the uniform shirt with appropriate patches, the neckerchief and slide for their den, and cub scout belt. Cub Scout bottoms and hats are optional.
These uniforms can be purchased at the BSA Online Store, the Michigan Crossroads Council Online Store, the Toyota Scout Shop in Detroit, or at Nankin Hardware in Westland. Below you will find links to the uniform guides we’ve put together for the various ranks. These guides include links to the BSA’s online uniform store where you can see what the various pieces look like, so you know what you’re looking for.
